ModMed Connection

Administrator only. These settings connect the Cases dropdowns and Approve and Bill to your practice. Saving does not create a patient or charge.

Use your practice-specific URLs from ModMed. The base URL ends in /ema or /ema/fhir/v2; the authentication endpoint ends in /ema/ws/oauth2/grant. Sandbox URLs are also supported. This connection uses the username/password API, not client ID/client secret authentication.

Saved passwords and keys are never displayed. Leave blank to keep them, or enter replacements. Changing the practice URL or username requires re-entering both secrets.

Optional for saving, enabling, testing the connection, and loading provider/location dropdowns. This portal requires valid integration facility codes before Approve and Bill sends a patient or charge. These are not the case location or provider codes; replace demo codes before production billing.
